Our reverse osmosis (RO) membrane is a key component in reverse osmosis water purification systems. It functions by removing contaminants and impurities from water. It effectively purifies 128Ltrs in an hour.

Semi-permeable Membrane: The RO membrane is a semi-permeable material, allowing only certain molecules, primarily water, to pass through. Larger molecules and contaminants, such as salts, bacteria, viruses, and dissolved solids, are trapped and blocked.
Process: When pressure is applied to the contaminated water (feed water), it forces water molecules through the membrane while leaving behind dissolved salts and other impurities. The purified water that passes through is called "permeate," and the remaining concentrated water with contaminants is called "brine" or "reject water."
Applications: RO membranes are widely used in drinking water purification, desalination of seawater, wastewater treatment, and various industrial processes where high-quality water is required.
The effectiveness of a reverse osmosis system heavily depends on the quality and maintenance of the RO membrane.
